“Candice Night ‘Sea Glass’ necklaces” Instagram competition

The Instagram competition “Candice Night ‘Sea Glass’ necklaces” (hereinafter referred to as the “competition”) is organized by Edel Music & Entertainment GmbH (earMUSIC, a label of Edel Music & Entertainment GmbH). In addition to the following Special Competition Terms and Conditions, the Competition Terms and Conditions of Participation, available at https://www.earmusic.com/terms-and-conditions/ and the data protection provisions of Edel Music & Entertainment GmbH and the partners https://www.earmusic.com/privacy-protection-statement/ apply insofar as they do not contradict these Special Competition Terms and Conditions. By participating, participants accept the General and Special Terms and Conditions of Participation. The competition is in no way connected to Instagram and is in no way sponsored, supported or organized by Instagram. Instagram is therefore not available as a contact partner for this competition.


1. Participation in the competition & prize

Effective participation in the competition takes place through active participation, by following the channel  https://www.instagram.com/earmusic/ (web address) and commenting their favourite song from Candice Night's new album under the competition post. Followers of the Instagram channel who are of legal age are eligible to participate.  

Edel Music & Entertainment GmbH (earMUSIC, a label of Edel Music & Entertainment GmbH) is giving away a non-cash prize in the form of five pairs (one for each winner) of the album "Sea Glass" (CD) by Candice Night plus one sea glass necklace. The prize will be delivered to the five possible winners by earMUSIC. The winner is responsible for all costs associated with the prize that are not expressly included in the prize, such as travel or catering costs. The prize is not convertible or transferable, i.e. cash payment, payment in kind, exchange or transfer of the prize is not possible. The prize is not transferable. The winner accepts any necessary changes to the prize due to factors beyond the control of the companies involved in the competition.


2. Participation period and closing date, prize determination

The competition runs from 16.05.2025, 04:00pm CET until 23.05.2025, 10:00am CET. Each participant can only enter once. Multiple comments or entries will be treated as one entry. The relevant date for the closing date is the time of the comment. Comments that violate the Instagram guidelines, German law and/or copyright will be removed without notice. The participant is thus excluded from participation.

The winner will be selected at random from all participating comments and announced in the comments on the Instagram channel https://www.instagram.com/earmusic/. The random selection is carried out by transferring the entries onto physical notes. 5 of them are then drawn from a container by an earMUSIC employee while blindfolded. Once the winner has been announced, they will be asked to get in touch with Edel and provide their contact address. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours of the announcement of the winner, the claim to the prize will unfortunately be forfeited. In the event of non-compliance with these deadlines, the participant is no longer entitled to the prize and Edel is entitled to randomly select a new winner and award the prize elsewhere. Claims for compensation by the initially drawn winner against Edel are excluded.


3. Data protection & PR

Participation in the competition includes - in the event of winning - the consent to the naming of the first and last name or Instagram profile name on the Instagram channel of Edel. The personal data of all participants and the winner will be collected, processed and forwarded for the purpose of running the competition and, if applicable, claiming and processing the prize. All Instagram names of the participants will be recorded and stored for the purpose of determining the winner; the comments on Instagram will continue to exist and can be viewed publicly. Address data will only be collected from the winners and will only be used to send/hand over the prize. In addition, personal data may be processed by Instagram, over which Edel has no control.
