With the release of ‘Via con me’, Till Brönner presents the second single from ‘ITALIA’, his upcoming studio album, due out on September 5, 2025 via earMUSIC.
Following the first single ‘Viva la Felicità’ – a reinterpretation of the iconic title theme from the cult cartoon character Signor Rossi – Brönner now turns to one of the most beloved Italian songs of the early 1980s: ‘Via con me’, originally written and performed by Paolo Conte. Worldwide known and cherished, the song receives a fresh, elegant twist in Brönner’s version, featuring Italy’s most distinctive soul voice: Mario Biondi.

“Mario Biondi achieved something only very few jazz musicians manage to do: he reached a global audience and became an important ambassador for Italy – regularly appearing on international jazz stages. And on top of that, he’s just a super relaxed, cool guy.” – Till Brönner
ABOUT ‘ITALIA’
The new album combines global hits, rare gems from Italian pop culture, and iconic film compositions – complemented by an original Brönner composition, all shaped by the spirit of an era when European pop music was simultaneously popular, poetic, and open-minded.
Recorded in Rome and Bari, the album was produced by Till Brönner and renowned Apulian guitarist, DJ and sound aesthete Nicola Conte, known for his elegant fusion of jazz, bossa nova and club culture.
“We focused on a period in Italian cultural history that remains one of the most fascinating, artistically relevant, and colourful to this day.” – Nicola Conte, Producer
The result is a homage to 1970s and ’80s Italy – featuring classics by Lucio Battisti, Paolo Conte, Tony Renis, iconic film music by Ennio Morricone and Franco Micalizzi, plus an impressive lineup of guest artists including Mandy Capristo, Chiara Civello, Sera Kalo, Giovanni Zarrella, and Mario Biondi.
‘ITALIA’ will be released in the following formats: CD Digipak, 2LP Gatefold (180g), Ltd. Rosso Vinyl, and Digital
