MC50 release the single ‘Looking at You’ through earMUSIC today.
Originally recorded in 1968 and released as a single on A-Square Records, ‘Looking at You’ quickly became one of MC5’s signature songs. A new version appeared on the band’s 1970 studio album ‘Back in the USA’, whose fast-paced, tight songs anticipated the punk aesthetic years before the genre had a name.

The newly released live version of ‘Looking at You’ was recorded during the MC50 world tour in 2018, celebrating the 50th anniversary of ‘Kick Out the Jams’. Led by MC5 founding guitarist Wayne Kramer, the MC50 lineup featured Kim Thayil (Soundgarden), Brendan Canty (Fugazi), Billy Gould (Faith No More), Matt Cameron (Pearl Jam), and Marcus Durant (Zen Guerrilla).
Following the acclaimed 2024 MC5 studio album ‘Heavy Lifting’ – produced by Bob Ezrin and released shortly before MC5’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame – ‘10 MORE’ continues the story of one of rock’s most influential bands with a powerful live recording that celebrates their lasting impact and uncompromising spirit.
’10 MORE’ will be out worldwide on December 5th, 2025, on CD, LP, and digital.
