From the opening surge of the orchestra to the closing notes that hung in the Eden air long after the final bow, the show quickly became one of those nights’ fans talk about for years. The setting plays its part. The Eden Project’s glowing biomes and natural acoustics give the performance a character all its own, amplifying both the scale and the intimacy of the music.

The setlist moves through the band’s history with confidence. Beloved anthems like Baba O’Riley, Pinball Wizard or My Generation still capable of sending a shockwave through a crowd the moment they begin. Longtime followers will find deep cuts woven throughout, reminders of just how broad The Who’s catalogue really is. Nothing feels overly polished or restrained. It’s a performance with grit, warmth, and the kind of instinctive chemistry that only decades of playing together can produce.

You can hear the orchestra pushing the band into new spaces, and the band pushing right back. There’s a looseness to the performance that makes it feel alive. The Who remain a group that refuses to coast.

‘Live at Eden Project’ stands as a vivid snapshot of where The Who are still evolving, still experimenting, still capable of delivering a show that hits with force and heart.
