Twenty-five years after his breakthrough with ‘Bilder von dir’, one of the defining artists of German pop looks back on his musical journey with energy, curiosity and passion. ’25 – Best Of’ is far more than a traditional greatest-hits collection. Instead of simply rereleasing the original recordings, Laith Al-Deen has selected 15 songs from every phase of his career and recorded them entirely anew with his band, strings, brass and longtime musical companions.
The result is an album that connects past and present: a musical journey through time that shows how songs can grow alongside the artist who performs them.

The emotional highlight follows immediately after the album release. On October 10, 2026, Laith Al-Deen will bring the project to the stage at a sold-out anniversary concert. Together with his longtime musical companions, strings and brass, he will perform every song from the album in its new, exclusive version.
For everyone who could not get a ticket, Laith Al-Deen will return to selected stages later this year with ‘2 vor Weihnachten’. Together with his longtime musical companion Christoph Melzer, he will present his songs in a deliberately stripped-back duo setting.
